RIG ELECTRICIANS – Minimum of 15 yrs in the electrical field with not less than 10 yrs experience in the oil/ gas drilling industry. Have an extensive knowledge of all electrical test equipment associated with the electrical maintenance of drilling rigs. Have a working knowledge of computers (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Familiar with API, ABS, IEEE & SOLAS standards. Have good leadership skills with the ability to perform on the job training for Rig Electricians and trainees. Have the communication skills necessary to submit reports, complete forms and converse with supervisors and management. High school diploma or associates degree from a fully accredited technical college manufacturers training courses.

RIG SAFETY ADVISORS – BS in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering. Have a minimum of 7 years of related experience in rig safety. Have a valid certificate in BOP/well control and other safety related courses. Have a valid Saudi driving license or Saudi Arab government acceptable international license to drive Saudi Aramco vehicles.

RIG MECHANICS – Minimum 10 years of experience in operating and maintaining diesel/electric rig components and related equipment, including top drive. Have a working knowledge of other crafts and operations such as welding, pipe fitting, crane operations, plumbing and carpentry. Have the capability of reading mechanical blueprints, equipment, spare parts and service manuals. Have the ability to supervise, motivate, train and coordinate subordinates. Familiar with oilfield terminology. Having a working knowledge of drilling operation to ensure knowledgeable recommendations/decisions are made to minimize interruption of rig operations. Have a valid Saudi driving license or a Saudi Arab government acceptable international license to drive Saudi Aramco vehicles.

SENIOR DRILLERS – Minimum 6 years rotary rig experience as a driller. Familiar with drilling tools and equipment, drilling practices and procedures. Must be holding a valid supervisory ICWF or well cap / well control certificate.

ASSISTANT DRILLERS – Minimum 8 years rotary big experience, three (3) years of which as assistant driller. Familiar with drilling tools and equipment, drilling practices and procedures. Must be holding a valid IWCF or well cap / well control certificate.

DERRICKMEN – Minimum 4 years training on the job and experience as a rig man, including both floor and derrick work. Familiar with the nomenclature of rotary drilling equipment, Have a good sense of balance and coordination to be able to work safely at heights in excess of 100. Willing to perform hard and hazardous work under extreme weather conditions involved in drilling wells and living at isolated well sites.

BARGE ENGINEERS – Minimum 5 years experience as a barge engineer on a jack-up barge. Be fluent in spoken and written English.

CRANE OPERATORS – Education of English and Math, completion of rigging and advanced both attachment specialty course. Minimum 9 years experience in operating all types of basic and advanced mobile hydraulic cranes inclusive of 1800 hours of documented accident free crane operation as Crane Operator II. Valid Saudi Arab government heavy equipment license; valid Saudi Arab government 2x license. Must have a certificate of Saudi Aramco specialized crane operator; Saudi Aramco lattice boom crane operator.

LIAISONMEN – BS in Petroleum/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 7 years of experience in drilling engineering and operations or high school degree or equivalent with 13 years experience in drilling engineering and operations. Skill and expertise in deviated drilling including short radius horizontal wells. Offshore jack up drilling experience with in-depth knowledge of top drive units, measurement while drilling (MWD) technology and oil base muds. Experience in drilling high pressure/ high temperature wells as deep as 17, 000 feet with heavy mud weights as high 165 PCF in high H2S concentrations of 20%. A current certificate in blowout prevention (BOP) and well control. Have a valid Saudi driving license or a Saudi Arab government acceptable international license to drive Saudi Aramco vehicles.

PETROLEUM ENGINEERS – BS in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in drilling engineering and operations. Have expertise in all phases of drilling and work over engineering, including but not limited to drill, sting design, casing design, drilling fluids, cementing, fishing, well heads, testing and completion of vertical and horizontal oil and high pressure deep gas wells. Must possess strong analytical and computer skills, and have the ability to perform in depth technical studies related to drilling and work over operations.

RIG SUPERINTENDENTS– BS degree in Petroleum Engineering. Minimum 12 years of experience in drilling engineering and operations. Have a current certificate in BOP and well control. Have a valid Saudi driving license or a Saudi Arab government acceptable international license to drive Saudi Aramco vehicles.
